BIOGRAPHY

He has been part of many honor groups, such as NYSSMA All-State Jazz, NYSSMA All-State Band, and All-Eastern Jazz Band. In addition to these ensembles, he has received perfect scores on both Oboe and Saxophone All-State NYSSMA Solos.  Pete attended the MSM (Manhattan School of Music) Summer Program and he is currently a student in the Mannes Pre-College Program. 

 

His mentors include: Remy LeBouef, a highly respected saxophonist and composer; Lynn Lygammari, a renowned saxophonist and educator; Carl Bartlet, an accomplished modern saxophonist; Phillip Rashkin, a highly respected oboist and educator; Grace Kelly, a talented saxophonist and vocalist; Dean Tsur, a versatile saxophonist and alum of The Juilliard School; and Sam Dillon, a notable sax player and influencer.
